The Bureau of At-Risk Youth
The Bureau For At-Risk Youth is an educational publisher and distributor of programs, videos, publications and products for youth at-risk and their caregivers. Started in 1990, it has quickly become the nation's leading supplier of innovative, high-quality, user-friendly resources that help children, teens, parents, educators and others cope with the many vital issues facing today's youth. Areas of concern and publishing activity include substance abuse, teenage sexuality and pregnancy, violence prevention, conflict resolution, child abuse, self-esteem and much more.

Child Welfare League of America
CWLA is an association of nearly 1,000 public and not-for-profit agencies devoted to improving life for more than 2.5 million at-risk children and youths and their families. Member agencies are involved with prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect, and they provide various services in addition to child protection -- kinship care, family foster care, adoption, positive youth development programs, residential group care, child care, family-centered practice, and programs for pregnant and parenting teenagers. Other concerns of member agencies include managed care, mental health, chemical dependency, housing and homelessness, and HIV/AIDS. For all these areas, CWLA has program experts who consult, train and otherwise assist agencies to advance their practice.

Children’s Defense Fund
The Children's Defense Fund exists to provide a strong and effective voice for all the children of America, who cannot vote, lobby, or speak for themselves. We pay particular attention to the needs of poor and minority children and those with disabilities. Our goal is to educate the nation about the needs of children and encourage preventive investment in children before they get sick, drop out of school, suffer family breakdown, or get into trouble.

Children’s Safety Network
The Children's Safety Network (CSN) National Injury and Violence Prevention Resource Center is located at Education Development Center, Inc., in Newton, Massachusetts. We provide resources and technical assistance to maternal and child health agencies and other organizations seeking to reduce unintentional injuries and violence to children and adolescents. We are one of four Children's Safety Network Resource Centers funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Education   Development Center
Working in partnership with police, judges, probation officers, advocates, and educators, EDC develops comprehensive solutions to social problems, including hate crimes, domestic abuse, child exploitation, and youth violence. Our projects link initiatives in crime and violence prevention, community building, and victims’ assistance in order to promote a more integrated and effective criminal justice system.

The mission of RAND's Criminal Justice Program is to minimize the level of harm to residents of the United States associated with criminal violence, theft, illegal drug use, and any policies or programs intended to ameliorate these problems.

U.S. Dept of Education (Safe&Drug-Free Schools)
